The American Beauty Academy instructor spotlight for May 2021 is Ashley, one of our amazing instructors. We asked Ashley to share her experience with the American Beauty Academy.
Q: What is your favorite thing about being an educator?
Seeing my students achieve their goals everyday. Being a part of their creative journey. Being able to make education fun for Barbers and stylists.
Q: What is one of the most rewarding movements in your teaching career?
There are so many! On a day by day basis seeing the "ah ha" moments. That every student that goes through my class passes their state board Practical Exams!
Q: What is your favorite part about being an instructor at American Beauty Academy?
Being a part of a family. Making education fun! There's no "I" in team and we have a great TEAM!
Q: What would you say to people considering a career in the beauty industry?
This industry unlocks so many doors of opportunity! It's the most fun, creative, uplifting $ to be made and smiles to be had industry. If you are willing to work hard and have fun, this is for you.

Working on my seventh year.

I have been with American Beauty Academy for four years and counting. ♥♥
