About Our Payson Cosmetology School

American Beauty Academy in Utah County boasts a 2,600 square foot facility designed with the cosmetology student in mind. Our campus features a styling salon, esthetics parlor, retail store, nail corner, and breakroom. From spa and nail equipment to professional hair tools and supplies, our designers have worked hard to put together for you a school that looks and feels like a professional salon. With 16 styling stations on the clinic floor and 5 more in the freshman classroom, we are prepared to offer you plenty of simulated salon experience.

Our students not only learn cosmetology but you can also receive training on building and retaining clientele, timekeeping, client communication, and retail sales. We focus on these elements, passing on our proven approach to each student. Our Payson cosmetology school offers flexible full or part-time schedules. Students must commit to 20-25 hours part-time or 35-40 hours full-time. Both schedules have a set-schedule Freshman class, with flex schedule beginning when students graduate from the chosen Freshman class.
